Can anyone recommend a proficient carrier for rural areas?

Probably Verizon... I live in Austin Texas only I go out to the sticks often and the but carrier to work out in rural areas has been Verizon and I have been with every carrier. .. metro pcs was REALLY adept and super fast in the metropolis only once you get out the city I will go very boring if not no signal. .. I take straight talk using Verizon .. Before then I was post paid Verizon so I could get a decent phone on a payment program..

Well, there is a ski park in Montana where only T Mobile covers

Ask your neighbors who live in the area what works all-time for them. The expanse may accept good coverage on Verizon and AT&T.

Directly Talk is a multi-carrier MVNO. When you buy the SIM starter kit, you choose which to use. I'g using Verizon's and I'thousand quite content with it out in the country.

If I recollect, they color code the Sims. Ruddy is Verizon, blue at&t, purple is T-Mobile.

But if your phone is Sprint locked I could see that causing a problem.

1 affair I take noticed about straight talk Verizon is I only become at MOST 10 megs down almost all the time... When I was Verizon post paid it was 35 to forty all the time...I am on the ultimate unlimited and I know they throttle the speed somewhat regardless if you hitting your call or not.

Although Verizon is unremarkably good for rural regions, it'southward e'er expert to check coverage by all of the networks. Open Indicate provides a good representation of coverage by all of the major networks:

endeavor smash.us which works on verizon

Nail supports "extended" only not roaming. Non as good. Get Selectel Wireless (MVNO). Domestic roaming on Verizon for $0.25/min. Decent plans. 4G LTE and so 2G when data is used upward. Works bully in northern Idaho! Get to their website and check them out.

Verizon or AT&T as master carriers. MVNOs that are on each i include RokMobile (Verizon), Verizon pre-paid, Cricket Wireless (AT&T), AT&T Pre-paid, H2O Wireless (AT&T).

Where are you at? People love to point out verizon, but they are only rurally rex in certain areas, mainly the dakotas and west of them to idaho, and of grade westward virginia. Try to look for a more regional carrier like viareo or u.s. cellular, which are no slouch in the areas they comprehend, and are easy to work with. Tmobile is king of the rural south for example, and is most every where too. If you must do verizon, then United states of america mobile is probably best.

I alive in WV, and to be honest Verizon is the best I've establish for rural areas.

Whatever chance you could requite an thought of where you will mainly use your phone and maybe someone has specific experience in that area?

I live in rural Kentucky and U.s.a. Mobile Super LTE Plan is what I'thou currently using and it is outstanding. It runs on Verizon's network and I have great service nearly everywhere I go.

Verizon MVNOs are probably your all-time bet, just AT&T MVNOs too accept decent coverage depending on where y'all're going. I am in the boonies a lot, and Cricket has been smashing.
